​What is THCa Flower?

THCa flower refers to federally legal hemp flower that contains high amounts of THCa and less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. Cannabis plants naturally produce high amounts of THCa, which is an inactive cannabinoid found in freshly harvested flower.

 

THCa vs Delta 9 THC

THCa (Tetrahydrocannabinol acid) is the precursor to Delta 9 THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Delta 9 THC wouldn’t naturally exist without THCa. Delta 9 THC is the active (psychotropic) version of the same cannabinoid. The process of heating the plant naturally converts THCa into usable, psychoactive Delta 9 THC.

 

Is buying THCA Flower legal?
